A historic music institution gets a modern facelift, prioritizing user experience and brand expansion
The Curtis Institute of Music is renowned as one of the top music education programs in the country, dedicated to training young performers to excel in their musical craft while actively contributing to their communities. Recognizing the importance of effectively conveying their mission, Curtis embarked on a new strategic direction for their website. They sought to enhance their brand narrative and provide users with a seamless browsing experience, enabling them to quickly access the information they were seeking.
Utilizing Curtis' comprehensive analytical data, we conducted an in-depth analysis of user behavior, identifying the most frequently sought-after content on their website. Collaborating closely with the Curtis team, we devised a "3-click" strategy to streamline user navigation, ensuring that visitors could easily find their desired information within three clicks or fewer. Additionally, we revamped the design of their mobile site, placing a premium on swift navigation and compelling storytelling.
Through this collaborative effort, Curtis and our team aimed to create an airtight user experience that not only reinforced their esteemed brand but also catered to the specific needs and preferences of their diverse audience. By leveraging data-driven insights and implementing design enhancements, the redesigned website sought to engage users, amplify Curtis' unique story, and facilitate seamless access to relevant content.
