Media-rich and complex content

Media Impact Funders (MIF), a membership organization dedicated to promoting the effective use and support of media for the public interest, approached Impart for help in updating their outdated website. Impart implemented a new site structure and design elements to enhance navigation and highlight the organization’s rich media content. We used the organization’s yellow logo bar as a recurring element to indicate new content sections, while a color-coding system and a tall rectangle shape from the logo were employed to identify different types of content. These updates have improved the user experience and effectively communicate Media Impact Funders’ mission and resources to their audience.

Impart continued their collaboration with MIF by creating a microsite for their annual funders event called JFunders. The event attracts attendees from across the country, and MIF sought Impart’s expertise in developing a dedicated microsite that aligned with their brand.

Impart swiftly built and launched the JFunders microsite, allowing users to register for the event, preview the agenda, and access a list of frequently asked questions. On the day of the event, a second iteration of the site was launched, featuring a live stream for virtual attendees. For on-site attendees, Impart incorporated QR codes to provide easy access to speaker bios and the event schedule. Following the event, the microsite was transitioned into post-event mode, providing space for event highlights, video content, and more.

By delivering a comprehensive and user-friendly microsite, Impart successfully facilitated the JFunders event experience, enabling attendees to engage with event information and access resources conveniently.
