Philadelphia Forever.

In 2019, I had the opportunity to design the wedding collateral for a close friend. She shared her Pinterest "inspiration board" with me, expressing her desire for a design that was fun, bright, and whimsical, incorporating city line drawings and bright floral elements.

Although the final design did not include bright florals, it heavily embraced the essence of Philadelphia. The designs showcased playful vector illustrations of the city skyline, accompanied by vibrant and lively colors. Additionally, we wanted to ensure that Monica's daughter felt included in the design, so we incorporated a playful element—a plane pulling a banner with her name. This plane became a recurring motif throughout the design, adding a touch of whimsy and personalization.

By utilizing these bright colors and whimsical elements, the final wedding collateral effectively expressed the desired atmosphere for the event: fun, breezy, and kid-friendly. While the bright florals took a backseat, the incorporation of Philadelphia landmarks and the personalized plane banner added a unique touch that celebrated both the city and the significance of family in the wedding festivities. The result was a vibrant and playful design that captured the spirit of the occasion and brought joy to the celebration.
